Haloanakalaukapalili was still born to sky father, Wakea, and Ho’ohokukalani that was buried then sprouted into the first kalo plant. Wakea and Ho’ohokulani later gave birth to a child , who became the first Hawaiian, named Haloa after his still born brother. Rooted to all Hawaiians, kalo symbolizes the connection to the past and growth for the future. Wear with Aloha!
